Session Details
Our Soccer School and Moving Matters FC training sessions run every week throughout the school term at our central location – Elmgreen School SE27 9BZ, making it easy for you to join in!
The sessions available include; Wildcats (Girls Only) sessions, Moving Matters FC team training, recreational weekend football sessions and our newly formed Advanced Training Centre.
Whether your child is new to football, a has been playing for a number of years and looking to go to the next level, we have something for everyone.

Advanced training centre

Our Advanced Training Centre, is an exclusive, invite-only programme designed for young players to elevate their game to new heights.
It is designed to take children already working at an advanced level of skill and ability to the next level through more tailored and appropriate training.
Delivered by a our team of coaches, some of whom have backgrounds and experience at academy-level coaching, “ATC” sessions deliver quality technical coaching tailored to challenge and advance each player. Players will work on core areas like ball mastery, passing and receiving, and finishing, as well as tactical work on a range of match day scenarios.
While sessions maintain the energy and fun of our regular programme of soccer school activities, they place a stronger emphasis on technical and tactical refinement, perfect for those looking to sharpen their skills at a more competitive leve.
Entry into the “ATC” is by invitation only following a successful trial. You can request a trial by emailing enquiriesmovingmatters@gmail.com
Please Note: with limited spots available, the ATC requires a full block booking aligned with each school half term to secure your place.

Sessions held on a Wednesday evening, 17:30pm – 19:00 for children in Years 5 to 9. Sessions are ran on a block booking basis in line with the school term, seven sessions is £59.50.

Kick off the weekend with high-quality coaching for all ages and abilities with our Super Saturday sessions!
From Reception through to Year 5 and beyond, we have a session for everyone. Whether it’s our Mini Movers session or Mini Maestros, the ethos is the same, fun filled football with a developmental approach.
Taking place every Saturday morning at the Elmgreen School, we run the following groups:
Mini-Movers (Reception-Year 2)
Mini-Magicians (Year 3 + 4)
Mini-Maestros (Year 5 and above)
Sessions take place 10:00 – 11:30am on a pay as you play basis, priced at £8.50 per session. There is a discount applied for block bookings and remember, your first session is FREE!

FA Wildcats (Girls Only)

.A session that provides a fun way for girls to get involved in football. All abilities are welcome.
Our Weetabix Wildcats (Girls Only) session invites girls aged 5-11 to take their first steps in the game or develop their already established skills. With a variety of fun filled football games and sessions delivered by our team of welcoming female coaches, this is the perfect way for girls of all abilities to improve their football.
As a Weetabix Wildcats provider we provide an opportunity for young girls to make new friends, have fun and play football!
Weetabix Wildcats Sessions runs on a Saturday morning from the Elmgreen School and is a pay as you play model. Sessions are priced at just £4.

The 2023/24 season saw the launch of Moving Matters FC through our Under 8s team who have been competing frequently in the Tandridge League.
Since then we have developed new teams and now have a number of teams at Under 8s and Under 9s level.
This gives opportunities to players from our Super Saturday sessions to play competitive football on Sunday mornings in the Tandridge league.
Due to popular demand, we have entered three teams into the league for the 2024/25 season, two teams at u9s and one at u8s.
We hope that the club can continue to grow year on year.

PLEASE NOTE: We do progress our best players onto trials at academies but only if the opportunity is right.
