About MMFC

Moving Matters FC was founded with a clear mission: to provide high-quality, inclusive football opportunities for children of all abilities in a safe and supportive environment.

Over the years, we’ve grown into a thriving grassroots club, currently running teams from Under 8s to Under 11s, with 2 teams at 3 age groups, the Lions and Bears.

At the heart of what we do is a strong focus on fun, player development, teamwork, and community spirit.

We believe football should be accessible to all, and we work hard to foster a culture that values respect, diversity, and growth both on and off the pitch.

 Coaching Philosophy
& Club Ethos

Ethos

At Moving Matters, we are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive environment where all players can thrive. Guided by our core principles of development, engagement, and a player-centered approach, we deliver four dynamic programs: Soccer Saturdays, the Advanced Training Centre, Moving Matters FC, and The Wildcats. Our goal is to nurture every player’s growth—on and off the pitch—through tailored coaching, community connection, and a focus on building both football skills and life skills. At every level, we aim to inspire young people to move, matter, and excel.

Philosophy

At Moving Matters FC, we believe every child deserves the chance to thrive in grassroots football—whether they’re chasing competition or simply playing for fun. Our inclusive and developmental approach offers two clear pathways to support all players:

The Advance Pathway is for those who want to challenge themselves and push their game to the next level, with a focus on technical growth, competitive readiness, and personal development. Linked with our Advanced Training Centre (ATC), this pathway encourages commitment, progression, and team success built on individual improvement.

The Play & Thrive Pathway offers a more relaxed, enjoyable football experience for players focused on fun, fitness, and friendship. It prioritizes inclusivity, personal growth, and a strong sense of belonging—ensuring every child feels valued and supported.

No matter the pathway, our mission is the same: to nurture confident, skilled, and happy players in a safe and empowering environment where every child can grow, belong, and fall in love with the game.

You can register your child by contacting us through our Contact Us page or by registering your interest here We’ll provide details on availability, next steps, and any trial sessions before full registration.

Players need football boots suitable for grass, shin pads, and appropriate training gear. Once registered, players will be given or directed to purchase an official MMFC kit for match day.
