Responsibilities: The role of business leader incorporates managing all aspects of the work we do and running the company, it’s a 24/7 job!
Leaders who have inspired you: My old PE teacher Niall Mcwilliams, Baroness Sue Campbell, Bobby Robson (England 1990 world cup)
Favourite sports teams: Oxford United, Arsenal and Molesey Lions U8s!
Podcast recommendations: The High Performance podcast has been inspirational since it’s advent during lockdown, I also love Totally Football show, The PE Umbrella, The Active Code, Around the NFL, Rugby Union weekly and Slow Burn
Book recommendations: Legacy by James Kerr was very influential recently and Long Walk to Freedom, Nelson Mandela was pretty inspirational
Why you like the role/work you do: Sports brings people together and changes lives which I strongly believe in but in a much more fundamental way movement is important, it matters and particularly now in this highly inactive sedentary culture in which we live. I’m very proud of the work we do in and out of schools, I hope it makes a difference to the lives of young people.

Why you like the role/work you do (if you like the role!!!): I enjoy delivering professional development as I work with a wide variety of teachers and children. As a result I have been able to develop my own coaching expertise significantly. I also enjoy coaching the SLD year 5-8 boys session as we have a brilliant group of players that are motivated to learn, which only makes my job as their coach better! Finally, despite not being able to hold as many competitions as I would have liked to this academic year, the ones I have delivered have been successful and very rewarding. There is great variety in the work I do, which keeps me on my toes!
