Boys and girls aged 6 - 14 (Years 1-9).
Reception aged children can attend for half a day only, 8.30 or 11.30 start time.
The Early year's register applies to children who turn 5 between 1st September 2016 & 31st August 2017. Our voluntary Ofsted registration stipulates children in early years may only attend camp for 3 hours and 59 minutes, which is half a day at camp.

This camp is multi-sports, offering two different activities each day at camp. We schedule lots of great activities for our camps, including Parkour, Tri-golf, American Football, Tennis, Basketball, Tag Rugby and Dodgeball. Check out the timetable here.

- Apply childcare provider's name as the voucher code (as mentioned above) then proceed to payment.
- The code overrides the amount owed make sure to make a not of the amount you must paid.
- The price for a day is £24 for a regular day or £27.50 for extended.
- Any miscalculation of fees paid will be communicated to you and you will be required to pay the difference in cash at camp
Moving Matters: Play Create Move and SLD soccer camps
Terms & Conditions / Information
1. The Contract:
The contract is between Moving Matters and the parent/guardian of the child named on the booking form. By submitting a booking form you agree to the terms and conditions. Payment is due in full at the time of booking.
In the event of camp closure due to a power fault, severe weather conditions or any other extreme circumstance, Moving Matters will not pay any refunds.
Moving Matters reserves the right to cancel any one day if less than 10 people are booked in. In such an event a full credit will be offered.
Your children are fully covered by our Public Liability Insurance.
4. Medican conditions
Details of any medical conditions or allergies must be given at the time of booking and any relevant medical equipment (inhaler, epi-pen) given to the Camp Director during registration.
5. Behaviour Management Policy
Moving Matters believes that children will flourish best in an atmosphere of mutual respect and encouragement where everyone knows what is expected of them. The Camp Director will discuss behaviour with your children during the orientation session on their first day. We concentrate on encouraging good behaviour and ensuring children enjoy their time at the activity camp. Staff will treat children with respect, promoting an atmosphere of trust. Should the positive atmosphere of the activity camp be compromised by disruptive or inappropriate behaviour, our staff will explain to the child why it is unacceptable. If the problem cannot be resolved, staff may have no choice but to exclude the child from the camp.
6. Your Consent
By agreeing to our terms and conditions you agree that your child will be involved in multi-sport activities or football, indoor and outdoor and that he/she will receive first aid when needed. For more serious accidents which may require hospital treatment, you will be notified as soon as possible. Emergency services will be called and if deemed necessary medication will be administered by professionals if we are unable to contact you or your nominated emergency contact.
Photos may be taken during the day which may be used in future promotional publications, such as leaflets or the website. You must indicate on our booking form if you want to opt out.
7. Costs and Online booking
£24.00 per regular day
£27.50 per extended day
Early bird at a cost of £21.60 or £24.75 per day (10% discount).
After Early bird only SIBLING discount of 10% applies.

8. Where and what time
Play Create Move & SLD soccer camps are held at:
The Elmgreen School
Elmcourt Road, Norwood,
8.30am – 3.30pm.
Registration starts from 8.30 am
Extended day 8.30 pm to 5.00pm
All members of staff are suitably qualified, all work in primary or secondary school's teaching PE, have a full DBS, child protection and (emergency) first aid trained.
10. What to bring:
All children should wear comfortable clothing in which they can play sport. Footwear must be astroturf trainers or normal trainers –no blades or moulded boots.
All children should bring a healthy packed lunch and plenty of water - no fizzy drinks please.
11. Late fees
Moving Matters reserves the right to charge parents a late fee. Any collections 15 minutes after your collection time will incur the £5 late fee. The fee goes up £1 for every further minute after the first 15.
The late fee must be settled before the return to camp on any future days.
Parents are required to sign in and sign out of holiday camp daily. Parents must also indicate to the Camp Director who will be collecting their child/ren.

14. Childcare Voucher
All payments must be made prior the holiday camp, if you are using child care vouchers make sure you have requested that your provider pay us before your child attends the camp, otherwise Moving Matters reserves the right to request the payment in cash or cheque.
Since September 1st 2016 Moving Matters operates a no refund policy. However customers will receive a full credit note which they will be able to use within a period of 9 months from the date of issue. Refunds do not apply to unused add ons (early drop off and extended day). Credit notes are only applied to cancellations of 72 hours or over.

When do you run the holiday camp?
Every school holiday except for Christmas.
Are you an Ofsted camp registered?
Our camp at The Elmgreen is Ofsted registered, number EY485421. No other venues are registered with Ofsted.
What time is registration and collection?
Our holiday camps are structured much like the standard school day, with registration starting at 8.30am for a standard day.
For our extended day, we ask parents to collect before or at 5 pm
We ask that parents allow 10 minutes for registration on the first day of their booking so that all details provided can be checked. Parents are required to sign their children in and out of camp.
The collection time is 3.30pm for a regular day and 5pm for extended day.
The holiday camp activities start around 9.15am
At the end of each day of camp, there is an end of day ceremony when the stars of the day are announced to parents and awards presented.
Times are not convenient for me.
We now offer additional hours, so your child can be with us from 8.30 - 5 pm

My child has never attended the camp before, how can I book?
Just go to our web site under section Parents – Book for holiday camp. And just follow the steps. After you have booked the first time the Open Play booking software will remember your details for future bookings. Any problems give us a call in the office, 02036914576, our office is open 9.30 - 1 pm every weekday during term time.
Do you have a quick and easy way to book?
You can use the Open play app using your login or they also have a website https://www.openplay.co.uk/
Am I entitled to a discount & can I pay cash on the day?
We offer a 10% discount for Early Bird bookings, available until a week before camp starts.
We also offer a 10% SIBLING discount for online or on the day bookings
Our pricing is inclusive of VAT
We accept cash on the day but this is charged at full rate, only sibling discount applies.
Can I get a refund if my child can’t attend the camp?
Moving Matters operates A NO REFUND POLICY. However, we will issue a full credit note if you follow our cancellation procedures that you will be able to use within a period of 9 months from the issue dates.
Can I use my childcare vouchers with Moving Matters?

I can’t find my provider
If your scheme is not listed please call us and we will sign up to your scheme. Please note this process will take a few days to set up and if you're not set up in time for your booking, you will be required to pay online or with cash.
Can I know more about your staff?
All Moving Matters staff are Primary PE Specialists, working in local schools teaching Physical Education. They are leading industry professionals with a wide range of qualifications and experience delivering to primary aged children across the curriculum. All staff are DBS checked, first aid and child protection trained. Each camp has a Camp Director who is in charge of overseeing the administration, staffing and running of the day. Any issues can be discussed with the Camp Director at the beginning or end of the day. Do you have a behaviour management procedure?
Yes we do, at Moving Matters we believe in the importance of mutual respect between children and adults at camp, children are made aware of these expectations at the beginning of the camp day. We focus on positive reinforcement to manage challenging behaviour and we manage children's behaviour in the same way we would within the school environment. We reserve the right to exclude a child if consistently challenging behaviour is displayed at camp.
What will my child be doing at camp?
Each day camp is started with a whole camp warm up, following the warm up children are put into age-specific groups for the first sport or football activity of the day.
Each day includes two sporting activities at Play Create Move, with a skills school to develop skills and tournament time to test in competitive games.
At our SLD camp we have a different daily schedule, working on developing skills in opposed and unopposed situations, daily tournaments and competitions.
We have two breaks during the day, mid-morning for 15 minutes and lunchtime for 30 minutes, subject to the weather and age of group we also incorporate an afternoon's break.
During breaks children can have a refreshment and take part in any of our break time activities;
- board games
- Speed stacking cups, and much more
Our camps now involve GET CREATIVE sessions; with creative and art based activities co-ordinated by the coaches.
The day ends with a medal ceremony at 3.25.
What to bring on the day:
- Wear comfortable trainers
- Sports appropriate clothing
- A warm top and a waterproof Jacket is also recommended depending on the weather

My child is 4 years old and capable can he/she stay the full day at camp?
Our camp is not on EYFS register and so for children aged 4 or 5 (in Reception at school), we are only allowed to offer childcare for a maximum of 3.59 hours each day

For the first time ever we are offering a tennis only camp this summer 2018. At the camp tennis enthusiasts will focus on developign their whole game, with technical practices, competitive practices, fun games and matches. We will be focusing on mini red tennis but those more advanced or older players will have the opportunity to use the full court.
The camp is being delivered by Mark Carey, a level 2 qualified tennis coach and ex Moving Matters member of staff.
The camp is intergated into our Play Create Move camp, so children will all do whole camp warm up together and then split off.
The camp starts at 08.30 and collection is at 12.30 however parents have the option to book their child in for remainder of the day at Play Create Move.

Tuesday 31st July - Thurs 2nd August and Tuesday 14th August - Thursday 16th August
