Can I know more about your staff?
All Moving Matters staff are Primary PE Specialists, working in local schools teaching Physical Education. They are leading industry professionals with a wide range of qualifications and experience delivering to primary aged children across the curriculum. All staff are DBS checked, first aid and child protection trained. Each camp has a Camp Director who is in charge of overseeing the administration, staffing and running of the day. Any issues can be discussed with the Camp Director at the beginning or end of the day. You can get to the know the team better by looking at our meet the team page: https://moving-matters.org/meet-the-team/
Do you have a behaviour management procedure?
Yes we do, at Moving Matters we believe in the importance of mutual respect between children and adults at camp, children are made aware of these expectations at the beginning of the camp day. We focus on positive reinforcement to manage challenging behaviour and we manage children’s behaviour in the same way we would within the school environment. We reserve the right to exclude a child if consistently challenging behaviour is displayed at camp.
What will my child be doing at camp?
We have a morning, lunch and afternoon break.
During the day we have 4 different activity sessions at each of the Mini Movers, SLD soccer and Play Create Move camps
