Why Bring Your Child To A Moving Matters Holiday Camp?

In today’s world where children are often glued to screens, Moving Matters offers a great opportunity for children to get outside and be active. Increased physical activity can have the following benefits;

  • Improved Mental Health
  • Improved academic performance
  • Boost sleep quality
  • Improved socialisation skills
  • Improved concentration

At Moving Matters’ Holiday Camps, sports and physical activity is our main focus.

Moving Matters offers a number of different sports and activities which provide children with the opportunity to develop new skills, have fun and be ACTIVE!

Our vision at Moving Matters is to help create a healthier society for future generations

By attending a camp focused on a number of different activities, children can receive specialised coaching that may not be available through their regular sports teams or PE provision in schools.

Your child will take part in sports they are familiar with such as Tennis, Dodgeball and Football but will also have the opportunity to try some sports they may not have come across, such as Tri-Golf, Archery, Handball and Hockey. This is truly what motivates our PE specialists who all teach PE in different schools in Lambeth, igniting a child’s love for sport to create a long lasting legacy of sports and physical activity in their life.

To add to this Children will get the opportunity to be more creative with our seasonal arts & crafts activities.

We also want your children to create new friendships. By spending time with other children who love the same sports, children may develop lasting friendships that extend into secondary school and beyond. Of the almost 300 children who attended our camps over the last year, they have attended 32 schools, so children will have the opportunity to experience our camps with their friends, and familiarise themselves with children in their local communities.

If you decide to send your child to our camp we guarantee them an unforgettable experience that will lead to them having a new found passion for sports and physical activity!

We hope to see you there!
