Our Work In Lambeth

This week I visited St Marys RC Primary in Clapham common and reflected on 17 years of having worked with the school from starting out as a Sports Coach, delivering there back in 2006/7.

Such is my longevity of working in Lambeth, that children I taught all those years ago, now have children themselves attending schools we work in! Now that makes me feel old!

St Marys RC is one of the 34 Lambeth primary schools we have the privilege of working with, which as you can see in the graphic above represents over half of the primary schools in the borough, 54% to be exact.

In total we work with schools across 7 London boroughs but Lambeth has always been our home and where we have such a strong network of schools.

We support schools in the borough with covering their PPA, upskilling their class teachers, providing pre, lunch and after school clubs, whole staff training and of course competitions. For more information on these, you can click the button below:

We’d love to work with more schools locally and with the 2024/25 academic year not a million miles away now is a great time to chat about what we can offer.

Free Subject Leader Workshop

We've recently had a number of requests from our member schools for PE subject leader training and so we’ve planned a workshop for March 4th 2024, 5pm at Sunnyhill primary school.

The workshop will explore the role of subject leader and give you as subject leads the opportunity to network/connect. 

The session starts at 5pm and should finish around 6.30pm.

This is a free to attend event.

Please pass on to your school's PE lead and ask them to contact me directly if they would like to attend.

Talent ID Recap

Feb 21st 2024

On Wednesday we hosted our second Talent ID Day of the term. This session was highly anticipated as we were joined by Crystal Palace youth team coach Aristide Bassele. The session saw 62 children between the ages of 10 and 14 compete against one another in a range of different formats from 3v3 to 9v9.

There was plenty of skills on display, and all of the games were played in the right spirit. It was great to see the pitch full to the brim with so many children enjoying the game of football. We look forward to hosting another Talent ID Day in the summer term so stay tuned!

New Holiday Camp Video

After reaching 1000 subscribers on YouTube, we wanted to celebrate this by releasing a new collection of services videos.

During our October holiday camp we begun filming in hopes to create two new promotional videos, highlighting our Soccer School and Holiday Camps. As these grow in popularity, we wanted to give new parents a look at what their children can expect in a day at our sessions.
